Soft Flower Sorry

Hello everyone...sorry for the delay in posts.  Summer is tough for me.  The two older kids have been away at camp for two weeks and then the whole family spent time with my in-laws for the 4th!  Now we're back and we're trying to get in all of the doctors appointments done before school starts.  My youngest is getting her 4 month shots tomorrow.  I'm going to be a wreck!
Ok, about the card...This is a CASE from Melissa O.  I just love going to her for inspiration.  I needed a card for my grandma whose sister passed away.  I wanted something soft and elegant.  I made several and changed up the sentiment.  I just love the versatility of this card.  This card uses the Bigz flower die.  It's so simple to create something beautiful (even if it's monochromatic).  I used the Blushing Bride DSP, Soft Suede, Certainly Celery, and Very Vanilla.  Have a wonderful day!

MDS Country Style

I just love the Downtown Grunge download...I can always find a use for it, especially with outdoorsy pages.  Other downloads used in these two pages are Vintage Overlays, Rough Type Alphabet, Torn Edges, and Extreme Elements.  Don't you just love the mud splats on the page?

Birthday Celebrations

Here is a FUN birthday card using something old and something new.  This DSP is retiring at the end of this month.  I just loved using it for kids' birthday cards.  It's bright and fun...just like we were when we were kids ;)  The stamp used on this card is from one of the new hostess sets in the new catalog.  It's an 11 piece birthday set guaranteeing you the perfect sentiment for anyone's birthday.  The set is called Happiest Birthday Wishes.  This will be available July first.  Book a workshop after July 1 and it could be yours!

Mojo Monday Challenge 196

This is my take on this week's Mojo Monday challenge.  I'm using Elegant Soiree DSP (Retires at the end of this month) which is one of my favorites.  It's one of those pack where I LOVE every side of every sheet in the package.  I've decided I need to use it up to make room for all of the new stuff!  In addition to the DSP, I only used Very Vanilla and Soft Suede.  Sympathy cards need to be simple and elegant, and I think I've achieved that!  Thanks for looking.

CAS Thank You

So, here's a very clean and simple card that could be used for almost anything.  I used the Fabulous Florets stamp set from the summer mini that will also be in the new catalog.  The sentiment is from a SAB set that is no longer available.  The colors here are Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla.  Enjoy your weekend!

A Day At The Park

These are the two pages I did when we took the kids to the Dream Playground in Harlan, IA.  We had so much fun just playing around.  Again...I used the Woodland Walk DSP and tried to keep the pages similar so when they open, they look cohesive.  (Now that I'm back in town, my posts will include cards as well featuring some of the wonderful new products.)  Stay tuned for more MDS and Stampin' Up! 2011-2012 products!

Shelby Farms MDS

On a whim, we decided to go check out a trail  had never been on before in Shelby Farms.  These are the times I am so grateful my phone takes photos.  I created this page using Woodland Walk DSP.  It works so well for anything outdoorsy.  I hope you enjoy watching this scrapbook...and my expertise grow together ;)
