Thinking of Soft Suede

Here is another boxed set I made for my mom.  The sentiment is inside and says Thinking of You from Sincere Salutations.  This card uses Soft Suede and Very Vanilla!  The other stamps are from Pocket Silhouettes.  Once again, the boxes are from clearbags.com!

Birthday Pinwheel

My mom needed some basic card sets to give as gifts so here is one I came up with.  I used the original Pawsitivly Prints DSP and Certainly Celery CS to create this.  I used the polka dot embossing folder to add some texture to the card base.  The sentiment came from On Your Birthday. The individual squares are 1 1/4 in and the Pink squares behind are 2 5/8.  It's a fun and simple card to mass produce!  Enjoy! P.S. The clear boxes to hold the cards are from clearbags.com and hold 4-5 A2 cards!  They are wonderful!

Sympathy Made Simple

I don't make many sympathy cards because I find they are very difficult for me to make.  My great aunt died this morning after battling lung cancer.  Here is what I came up with to send to my great uncle.  The base is Crumb Cake with a layer of retired DSP called Bella Bleu.  I stamped an image from Thoughts and Prayers on Very Vanilla and then attached it to a layer of Crumb Cake before sending it through the Big Shot and embossing it.  I love the effect.  It makes for a very elegant card.

Early Valentines

I know it's early, but I had to get a head start on Valentine cards and since I'm off for the week from teaching, I figured now would be a great time.  Both of these cards were created using retired DSP called Sending Love. (You can still order it from the Clearance Rack on the SU! website.  I also used the new stamp set from the Occasions Mini (Available Jan 4) called Valentine Defined and then the retired stamp set Happy Everything.  I hope you enjoy!

Mojo Monday Challenge 171

This is my monochromatic Mojo Monday entry!  Since it's my anniversary, I suppose I should have made an anniversary card instead, but I decided this paper was more for a fun birthday card.  I used Poppy Parade in a 5 X 5 card.  The Poppy Parade DSP is cut a 2 1/4 X 2 1/4.  I used the new stamp set called Take a Spin from the Occasions Mini (available January 4th).  I think this is one of my favorites! Very simple, yet fun!  Thanks for checking it out!

Thank You Simply

These are two VERY simple thank you cards that I've been working on.  Teaching school, I had so many wonderful gifts from my students that needed thanking!  I needed something simple and elegant!  I used the SU embossing folder called Elegant Lines.  I did some on Baja Breeze and others on Rose Red with coordinating ribbon!  Lovely!!!

Greenhouse Gala Birthday

I needed a quick and simple birthday card for a friend's birthday.  I used the Greenhouse Gala DSP with a base of Pear Pizazz and accents of Real Red, Chocolate Chip, and Daffodil Delight.  I used a Chocolate Chip corduroy brad (retired) in the corner for a little embellishment.  The sentiment is from "Create a Cupcake" from the new mini (available January 4th).  More posts to follow...I have been busy getting Christmas stuff together for the kids' teachers, but I haven't posted yet!
