Well...again, so sorry for being slightly MIA. I just sent off 200 of my parent's Christmas cards to send to their clients. I do them every year, but this year, they snuck up on me. I have to do 50 more still, but that's nothing compared to what I've already done. I had my December stamp club this afternoon and this was one of the projects. It uses the adorable stocking die. It's very simple to create as well. After cutting the stocking out, you run the front through an embossing folder to give it a little texture. Even though the entire stocking doesn't fit, the tip of the toe is covered by the polka dots! The greatest thing that transforms this into a gift card holder is the flap and punch.
You simply punch the word window (1 1/2 times) so it is large enough to fit a gift card into it. The you create the flap by cutting a 4 X 4 1/4 piece of cardstock and scoring it at the 2 in mark. Then you line it up so the scored line comes just shy of the line on the die so it doesn't cut through. Voila! You have a gift card holder! Isn't it cute? Have a wonderful day!
