Doily Waterfall

Have you ever seen a Doily Waterfall?  Ha!  Sometimes I'm so delirious, I think I'm much funnier than I really am.  For those of you who don't know, this is called a waterfall card.

The reason it's called that is because it cascades much like a waterfall like these pictures here.  I did not come up with this at all.  Here's a tutorial if you'd like to recreate a card similar to this one.  It looks a lot more difficult than it really is.  It's a lot of cutting and scoring, but other than that, it's simple.  Okay, so back to the card.  I made it using the new Doily set and two of the new In Colors.  Here we have Pool Party and Island Indigo.  I really love how they compliment each other.  I also used Vintage brads and Very Vanilla ribbon.  I love how it turned out!  Don't you?

A Little Something CASEd

This card is NOT my creation at all.  This card I CASEd from Mary Fish!  I love her.  I just love her color combinations and her wonderful eye for creative cards.  Go visit her blog if you haven't before.  She's amazing.  For this, I used Basic Black, Blushing Bride, and Whisper White.  Don't you just love the new punch?  I can't stop using it!  Enjoy!

"Perk" Up!

This is a tent card that I think is really cool! The cut out on the front was done with the Circle Scissors Plus.  You could create the same effect with any of the SU dies!  I used the Woodland Walk DSP which I just love.  To create the tent effect, I cut card stock to 4 X 4 and then scored at 1, 2, and 3 inches.  So simple!

Thinking of Buttons

Here is a card I created for our workshop this month using a different kind of fold.  The picture doesn't really do it justice, but the Tempting Turquoise piece actually opens up horizontally and then the DSP opens vertically!  There's probably a fancy name for this fold, but I don't know what it is!  Feel free to comment if you know!  The base is Early Espresso with a layer of Very Vanilla and then the Sweet Stitches DSP.  I stamped the buttons randomly and then a sentiment from Sincere Salutations.  I used one of the fabric buttons from the new mini.  Aren't they great?  I hope you enjoy!

Thinking of Soft Suede

Here is another boxed set I made for my mom.  The sentiment is inside and says Thinking of You from Sincere Salutations.  This card uses Soft Suede and Very Vanilla!  The other stamps are from Pocket Silhouettes.  Once again, the boxes are from clearbags.com!
